The construction was due to the need for the institution to have a place to host a high degree of automation. This plan was already old. Since 2018, the institution has intended to expand. The production of the initial manufacturing plant and outsourcing were no longer able to meet the market demand for Pharlab medicines, which are present in more than 75 thousand pharmacies in Brazil.
And due to this need, Asmontec was called in to carry out the work. The unit is expected to double the company's production capacity in the solids area.
