ABNT standards can cover many areas. They influence the safety of people, economy, quality of products and services, among others. They are present in our lives, much more than we can imagine. They play an extremely important role in the growth of various sectors.
For a better understanding, “ABNT” is the acronym for the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards. It is based on international standards and consists of a document established by a recognized body, with the aim of providing rules and guidelines for various activities. Always aims to benefit the community.
Rules in the fight against the new Coronavirus
Pandemic announced weeks ago by the World Health Organization (WHO), COVID-19 “stopped” the world. The problem experienced by different countries, on different continents, concerns everyone, regardless of social classes or levels. And, to be successful in the fight against this virus, it is necessary to follow strict safety standards and requirements, especially in hospital environments.
With this in mind, ABNT has listed 32 rules, detailed and free, so that equipment, work environments, professional clothing and other factors directly involved in fighting the disease, follow the determinations correctly.
